It controls the turn signals, headlight high/low beam, windshield wiper speed, washer pump, and clearance light interrupt, all through an 8-wire connection with a black handle. This switch does not have a self-canceling feature. It is commonly replaced when the original switch fails, causing lights or wipers to stop working.
