This is a Neapco splined sleeve that creates a long-travel slip joint in a driveshaft.

It slides over a matching 1.625-inch, 10-spline shaft, allowing the driveshaft to lengthen and shorten as the suspension moves. Commonly used in off-road and custom driveline builds where extreme suspension travel requires a driveshaft that can change length significantly. You replace this sleeve when the splines are worn or when fabricating a new driveshaft.
