It is a solid, pre-greased joint with inside snap rings (ISR) for secure retention. This U-joint connects driveshaft components, allowing them to flex while transmitting torque. It is commonly replaced when worn or damaged, which can cause driveline vibration, clunking, or failure. This part is a direct replacement for many medium and heavy-duty truck applications that require a U-joint with 1.125-inch bearing caps and 2.556-inch snap ring distance.
