It connects two driveshaft segments and transmits rotational power while allowing for angular movement. The half round design secures the bearing caps using bearing plates and bolts, and this kit includes the necessary mounting hardware (strap kit). Worn U-joints cause driveline vibration and should be replaced to prevent component wear or failure.
