It connects two driveshaft yokes, allowing angular movement while reliably transferring torque between the transmission and axle. The greasable design lets you lubricate the bearing caps to extend service life. The kit includes retaining bolts and is commonly used in heavy-duty truck driveshafts when the original joint wears out or develops play.
