This is a 4-inch aluminum 30-degree short radius belled bend, manufactured by Allegheny Valve & Coupling. It is used in heavy-duty truck and trailer exhaust systems to smoothly change the direction of piping by 30 degrees. The belled (flared) ends allow it to slip over 4-inch aluminum tubing for welding or clamping in place. Commonly replaced when the exhaust elbow is corroded, cracked, or damaged from vibration and road debris.
