It uses a single 12-volt incandescent bulb to provide a bright, focused beam that helps you see behind the vehicle when backing up. The polycarbonate lens and housing are sonically sealed into a waterproof, shock-resistant unit, and the bulb is internally shock-mounted to last longer on rough roads. It mounts in a standard 4-inch grommet and connects with a simple PL-2 plug, making it a direct replacement for older Signal-Stat 4041W and 4047W models.
