NOSE BOX

It serves as the central connection point for the tractor’s electrical lines, and often also houses circuit breakers, terminal studs, and socket receptacles for the trailer’s lighting and ABS systems. The enclosure protects wiring from road spray, dirt, and physical damage. Nose boxes are typically replaced when the housing becomes cracked, the lid or gasket fails, internal terminals become heavily corroded, or when upgrading to a box with additional circuit protection or a different socket configuration.
