It is designed to close an electrical circuit when system air pressure rises to 65 PSI, and opens again when pressure falls to 75 PSI. Commonly employed to monitor or control functions such as low-air warnings, compressor cut-in, or accessory activation. The switch features a 1/8" NPT male thread for direct mounting into air tanks or manifolds.
