Requires strap kit PTI-3570-20. For pre-2000 trucks with original 2.20-inch seal ID, use pinion seal 2286 to match the yoke's 2.372-inch ground hub diameter.

It couples the driveshaft to the pinion shaft via a strap-style retainer and is used on 1973–2006 GM 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks and vans. On 2000-and-later trucks, it directly fits the larger factory triple-lip pinion seal; pre-2000 applications may require seal 2286 to accommodate the yoke's larger 2.372-inch ground hub diameter. Replace a damaged or worn yoke to eliminate driveline vibrations and u-joint wear.
