It allows a full 360° rotation to relieve hose twist and kinking in liquid transfer lines, making it common on fuel trucks, tankers, and bulk loading arms. Inside, an O‑ring pressure seal and dual rows of ball bearings keep the connection leak‑free and turn smoothly even under line pressure. You would replace it when the swivel becomes stiff, leaks, or shows contamination that could damage seals and bearings.
