This is a 1310 series driveshaft flange yoke that replaces the GKN-style constant velocity (CV) joint on certain vehicle front driveshafts.

It allows the use of a standard 1310 universal joint instead of the factory CV joint, addressing wear, vibration, or failure issues. The kit includes the flange and mounting hardware, and is commonly used on Jeep and Dodge trucks when the original CV joint becomes worn or clunks. Note that it is not recommended for full-time four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicles due to potential vibration at highway speeds.
