This is a Spicer 1480 series splined bore end yoke used in heavy-duty truck driveshafts. It connects the driveshaft to the transmission or axle via a 34-spline involute shaft with a 1.790-inch major diameter. The yoke is retained with straps and caps (strap style) and is commonly replaced when splines wear or the yoke ears become damaged. Compatible with 1480 series U-joint kits and strap assembly kit 3-70-38X.
