It uses a 3C series low-wing threaded (LWT) design, with four threaded bearing caps that bolt directly to the yoke. This cross-and-bearing assembly transmits torque and allows angular movement between driveshaft sections. Replace when worn to eliminate driveline vibration, noise, or excessive play.
