This hydraulic adapter fitting has a 1/8" female NPT (National Pipe Taper) thread on one end and a 1/4" female JIC 37° flare swivel on the other.

It connects a pipe-threaded port, such as on a valve or cylinder, to a JIC 37° flared tube or hose end, with the swivel nut allowing the JIC connection to be tightened without twisting the hose. Commonly used in hydraulic systems on dump trucks, wreckers, and other heavy-duty mobile equipment where high-pressure oil transfer is needed. Replace if threads are damaged or the sealing surfaces leak.
