This is a nylon male connector fitting designed for use with Nylo-Seal semi-rigid nylon tubing.

It has a compression sleeve/nut on one end to secure the tubing (no flaring required) and a tapered NPT pipe thread on the other end, which seals without Teflon tape or compound. Typically used in air brake, air suspension, or fuel line systems where a reliable, vibration-resistant connection is needed. Replacement is needed if the fitting is cracked, stripped, or if the sleeve loses its grip on the tubing.
