POP OFF VALVE 18# (MALE)

This is a temperature-compensated blower air relief valve (pop-off) for tractor-mounted blowers on dry bulk pneumatic trailers. It automatically vents to atmosphere when system pressure reaches 18 PSI during normal blower operation, protecting the blower and piping from damage if a blockage occurs. The set relief point is calibrated at high operating temperatures; at room temperature it opens at approximately 22 PSI. A worn, leaking, or sticking valve can cause poor unloading performance, so it’s commonly replaced during preventive maintenance or when pressure relief becomes unreliable.
