The latch secures the door at two points—top and bottom—when the D-ring is turned, and includes a keyed lock cylinder (key #1250) to prevent unauthorized access. It comes as a complete kit with the flush-mount D-ring handle, two 36-inch rods, rod guides, and mounting hardware. Typically replaced when the original latch fails or when upgrading to a locking, corrosion-resistant system.
