It slides onto the transmission output shaft and allows the driveshaft to move in and out as the suspension articulates, compensating for changes in distance between the transmission and the rear axle. Replace this yoke when the internal splines are worn or the seal surface is grooved, which can cause driveline vibration, clunking, or transmission fluid leaks at the tailshaft. It directly replaces GM part 26019634 and fits 27‑spline output shafts found on 4L60‑E, 4L65‑E, and 4L70‑E automatic transmissions.
