The yoke is designed to be welded to a 1.75-inch diameter tube with a 0.095-inch wall thickness, and the ball stud engages with a CV socket flange to allow smooth power delivery at varying angles. It replaces worn or damaged yokes in older style CV driveshaft assemblies. Common in 4x4 applications where a 1310 series U-joint and this style of ball stud are required.
