This part has been discontinued and replaced by the Neapco 1-0153G premium Gold Series joint ([northerndrivetrain.com](http://www.northerndrivetrain.com/product/NEA-2-0785.html)). U-joints like this allow the drive shaft to flex with suspension movement while transmitting power, and they should be replaced when worn to prevent vibration or driveline damage. The replacement joint is a sealed, non-greasable 1310 series design with outside snap rings, meeting OEM standards.
