It acts as a conversion U-joint, allowing you to mate a 7260 series driveshaft end to a 7290 series component without changing the entire driveline. The joint features inside snap rings (ISR) for bearing retention and includes a grease fitting in one of the bearing cups for lubrication, which helps you maintain it for longer service life.
