It features a 46-spline, 2.390" major diameter involute spline that mates to the output shaft, and a 2.166" bearing diameter for the U-joint. This yoke is commonly used on coupling shafts and must match the exact spline count and diameter; mismatched splines can damage both yoke and shaft. Replace your yoke when ears crack, splines show wear, or cap bores become pitted or elongated to prevent driveline vibration or failure.
