TUBE YOKE

This is a Spicer SPL140 series tube weld yoke. It's a steel driveshaft component that gets welded onto a 4.331-inch outside diameter, 0.197-inch wall thickness tube. The yoke mates with a universal joint that uses 1.938-inch diameter bearing caps, allowing the driveshaft to transmit torque while accommodating angle changes. You replace this yoke when building or repairing heavy-duty driveshafts, especially if the original yoke is worn, damaged, or you're converting to a welded tube setup on a medium/heavy truck or off-highway equipment.
