The spool is the internal sliding component that directs compressed air to pneumatically operate loading/unloading valves. When the spool wears, gets scratched, or fails to seal, it causes air leaks and erratic valve control. Installing this kit restores reliable sealing and smooth valve operation. It is designed for the first-generation CivaControl SCP valve (pre-2014) and the 12050-A assembly.
