This is a 3-inch grooved coupling gasket made from Baylast™, a proprietary elastomer developed by Dixon for excellent compatibility with a wide range of petroleum-based fuels, ethanol blends up to E100, and biodiesel up to B100.

It fits inside Victaulic-style bolted clamps to create a leak-proof seal on grooved-end piping. These gaskets are commonly replaced during tanker trailer maintenance when the existing gasket has aged, hardened, or been damaged, and they prevent fuel leaks under pressure. The Baylast material is identified by two orange stripes and offers a reliable seal in cold weather down to -20°F.
