OUTPUT SEAL

Oil seal designed for pinion or output shafts on heavy-duty truck drivetrains. It is a multi-lip, spring-loaded seal with a 3.003-inch bore and fluoro-elastomer material that handles temperatures from -40°F to 400°F. Commonly used in differentials and transmissions to prevent lubricant leakage where the shaft exits the housing. Replace when you see oil leaks, excessive play, or during a driveline overhaul to avoid fluid loss and component wear.
