END YOKE

This is a Spicer SPL100 series splined coupling end yoke for driveshafts. It has 34 internal involute splines (1.791-inch major diameter) and a 2.750-inch ground hub diameter. The yoke uses strap-style retainers and works with an SPL100 series universal joint (1.625-inch bearing caps, 4.957-inch span). It is typically found on coupling-style shafts near the center support bearing, and replacement is needed when splines are worn, the yoke is damaged, or driveline vibration occurs.
