This is a heavy-duty slip yoke designed for PTO (power take-off) drivelines on trucks and equipment.

It features a 7/8 inch round bore with a 1/4 inch keyway to mount onto a PTO shaft, and uses 1000 series universal joints (0.938-inch bearing caps with 1.500-inch inside lockup). The slip yoke allows the driveshaft to slide axially, compensating for suspension movement while transmitting torque. It is replaced when the bore, keyway, or U-joint mounting ears become worn or damaged.
