It is a 1000 series yoke with a round bore and a ¼-inch keyway, designed to connect a PTO shaft to auxiliary equipment such as pumps or hydraulic motors. The yoke uses an inside snap ring to retain a 1000-series universal joint. It is typically replaced when the bore is worn, the keyway is damaged, or the yoke ears are spread.
