It includes two straps and four bolts that secure the bearing caps of a 3R universal joint to the driveshaft yoke. The kit is typically replaced whenever the u-joint is serviced, or if the straps become worn, stretched, or damaged. It is designed for u-joints with a 1.125-inch bearing cap diameter and a 1.812-inch center-to-center bolt spacing.
